The track follows more or less the shore, for some parts it runs directly along the water. At the harbor restaurant there is a short detour to the main road, but after the Strandbad we are in contact with the lake again.

Stanserhorn

Stanserhorn

There are many interesting lookouts towards the alps and the towns on the lake.
If you want to walk only one way there are excellent connections by public transports. In summer of course there is the option of using the ship as well.

Entering Cham you pass the castle "Andreas" (private). After crossing the river Lorze you are in the park "Villette", a lovely setting and space for strolling around.

Cham itself is a pretty small town with modern shops and many Restaurants.
