I prefer the quiet trails with lookouts here and there, the chance of seeing rare plants, wildlife..
When traveling abroad I'm collecting information's from wherever they are available: other people, books, brochures, local papers, internet and I'm thankful for all the hints. 
Perhaps, with this site I can do some compensation. 

One of my favorites is hiking in the nearby mountains. Although there are better known routes in the alps, Central Switzerland has a range of very attractive alpine trails.
